This type of ring was popular in the 1950’s and mimics the Pagoda style ring of the late 1800’s which features two sections screwed together to form the top of the ring. Set in 14k yellow gold this interesting ring holds a cluster of 8 round opals (approx. 3mm each) and one larger opal (approx. 3.5 mm) at the pinnacle. The opals have medium fire, and the ring has a lot of textured details etched into the gold. It is currently a size 5 and sits approx. 14mm high on the finger. The ring weighs approx. 11 grams.
